time and time again, it's been proven! ha! was googling for the venue on the web when i stumbled across an almost-freshie's blog entry about going to the same place for interview, different position though. see what i mean by no privacy. i googled the address, i got someone's blog in the top 5 entries. jeez. proves you CANNOT afford to be specific if you really want privacy! oh, but you say 'i can always lock it up with a password, make it private etc'. seriously. how private can it get? passwords can be broken with ease, ya know ;).
anyway, the person had trouble finding the place and went on and gave an interesting but not surprising comment about his interviewers, which were from a gahment body. now now, didn't we sort of tasted that sort of arrogance earlier in the week? ;p all too familiar huh, so no surprises there.
oops. back to the so-called privacy online. has thoughts of deleting my friendster (does anyone still even use that?) profile, for the purpose of not leaving so much footprints online. i even tried googling my name. it IS scary, the lack of online privacy that is. anyway, in the end, i couldn't bear to delete the friendster profile. -_-" maybe it might become a source for blackmail when and if i become rich and famous. key word: IF. LOL!!
anyway, was at alex's place, celebrating the kid's 21st birthday. oops. no longer a kid anymore. haha~ met up with some of the tofu people and alex's friends. sat at the tables in the front porch, gobbling down delicious food with love, jh, kenneth, hansel, lincoln, edwin, damien+gf and of cos alex. always fun and laughter but seriously hold the warcraft and dota pls! lol. i think it's possible for everyone else, maybe not alex. wahahahahahah. anyway, everyone's been moving on quite well w/o tofu. it's all good :D . food was great! the cooked food like spaghetti, shepherd's pie, fried noodles, garlic bread, potato salad, beef stew. had beef patty, steak, chicken, stingray, crayfish, prawns, enoki mushrooms+bacon. eat until wanna burst, literally! then there was 2 cakes!!! 'cos it was a double celebration, alex & his sis claire's birthday as well. so 2 cakes! AND since it was mid-autumn festival...there were mooncakes AFTER the cakes. wahhh me and bu couldn't even finish 1slice of each cake, let alone try the mooncake. lol.
Was nice meeting the guys again, BUT would be better if it was nearer to our place! everytime have to go ALL THE WAY TO THE EAST. *big sigh* when will i own a nice place like theirs in the east ah? Long way to go, or maybe never. Sad. T_T
oh ya, earlier in the week, met up with xuan 姐 to a gahment-initiated place for employability. went to seex2 lookx2. won't wanna say it was a wasted trip, after all we did sign up for a workshop. so, the following day, me, xuan and bu went for the 9am-6pm workshop. omg. -_-" felt so totally out-of-place! i honestly wanted to throw smoke and *poof* - ninja away but in the end we didn't. can't believe we survived the session! it was an interesting experience i must say, to be the same room with professionals with working experience equivalent to my age. lol. everyone else's favourite hobby is 'travelling' while mine is 'watching movies'. oh well. i guess at the end of it, things shared in the workshop will help in one way or another.
haiyo. it's really getting frustrating. i feel like shoving everyone aside. place myself in cold turkey and avoid ALL human contact as much as possible, until..... :(
