I know I stated earlier that I should stop having super full dinners. AHHHHHH....it didn't stop. lol~ Had a wonderful dinner at Prego (Raffles City) this evening, with Love, Chris & MinChee. Dan & Sher were supposed to join us, but oh well...in the end didn't. What a shame. Anyway, wow. Finally, Love and I were at Prego, after wanting to dine there like 3 years ago (when we just got together, we wanted to eat there but the place was fully booked :< )
The service was a tad lower than expected (for such a classy place), 'cause i guess it was a friday night after all. We waited quite long for our main dishes. :/ The squid-ink pasta was scrumptious! But i ate too much of the bread and calamari at the beginning, such that when my main course came, i was alittle full already. lol. dessert(Zuccotto) was not bad, but too much coffee for my liking, seems more like a mudpie than what it is named. Overall, food was good, ambience great, company even better! But then...(see, there's always the BUT) so was the price. LOL~~ dinner for the 4 of us amounted to $193.91 x_x *KILLER* lol~
after the stomach-bursting meal, the 4 of us went to selegie to play L4D. Haha, Bu was right. I really did enjoy it, though the guys had to keep saving us girls cos we both first timers at it. haha! was damn fun though. the last mission of our campaign was abit hard, we all kept dying at first and later on, i kept dying la! hahaha~ cos keep on swarmed by all the incoming zombies on my side. Finally we managed to hold out before the plane came and rescued us. I guess it was fun cos there was solid team work ah ;p not to mention no stupid bots hehe.
whee~~ still feeling happy about the dinner, although having flashbacks of zombies ~.~ the witch and tank is damn scaryyyyy...ah. long weekend next week. mm. but sigh. job searching stinks. gahhh its okay. i must stay positive and enjoy my tai tai days before i become a slave of the working world.
Eek. just realised I didn't blog about 9/9/09!!!!! Bubear and I celebrated our 3rd year anniversary! We wanted to have steak at first, so it was between Ashtons Prime and Grill-out. Since we've eaten at Grill-out before, and reviews from friends/relatives about Ashtons were not that satisfactory, we decided to .....Kuishinbo instead. HA. Tummy bear loves the wagyu teppanyaki, I love the chocolate fondue. ('cause they didnt use cheapo chocolate! unlike the one at the Swensens buffet@ion orchard = horrendously LOUSY.) Lurfu bought Paddington bear for me!! Same initials as my pet name ah~ P.B. haha! I made fruit jelly for love. Er, it didn't turn out as well as i wanted it to...cos not sweet enough lol. I finished making the jelly already then i figured out that i should added Ribena instead. Would have gave the jelly a nice colour and much sweeter taste. Awww..Anyway, there was alot of drama on that day. Stupid events that turned my entire day's plan upside down. Made me so peeved! in a sentence, I HATE RE!!!!
