gah. went to sit for cell bio CA1 today. gosh. disgustingly evil paper. why? 4 structured questions choose 2 and 20 True-False MCQs. Sounds do-able right? Thought so too, until i saw the format and nearly fainted. the 20 MCQs of True-false had negative marking. -1 for each wrong answer, +1 for each correct answer. whoa okay. There's more. Each mcq question consists of 5 true or false statements. -_-" HELLO?! That's like 20 x 5 = 100 MCQs! and 2 structured questions?! And must be done in 1 hr 40 mins!? SO INSANE! Then the lecturer keep making announcements/reminders. distracting eh and nv extend somemore! so evil.....haiz....at least bioinfo they still gave time extension to compensate the disruptions. oh well.
Tomorrow. Postmortem for experimental CA1. 30%. Oh sheet. Don't really wanna know. 30% of a 6MC module. Can almost calculate what grade or how much my CAP will be pulled down by it this sem. ;_;
On a happier note. This yr is leap year-which means i was born on a leap year too! ages with multiples of 4 are born on leap year :P Anyway, on 29th of Feb friday, chun, ah bu and i met at the clementi macdonalds and had our last meal there. why last meal? Cos the clement mac ceased operations on 29 feb 2008. Think they going to tear down that old building for further development. Saded. That macdonalds had most of my childhood memories, and memories all the way till present age. gah. T_T after the breakfast, they headed over to my place for bible study session. my first. it was not bad, though i bombarded chun and love with quite a bit of questions. learnt quite alot about the Word. After that love and i cooked lunch for the 3 of us :)

Roast Chicken
Woohoo. Verdict? The roast chicken we had prepared and marinated overnight turned out ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. The stuffing of butter between the chicken breast and the skin really made a huge difference. The breast meat turned out very tender, totally didn't taste like breast meat. lol (We learnt that by watching Jaime Oliver's Xmas special. He did that, but using herb butter and on a turkey.)
Mushroom cream pasta
Okay. This was a let-down. lol~ Pales in comparison with the roast chicken. I think we added too little flour since that the sauce took ages to thicken.
Was glad chun enjoyed the food 'cos we're pretty pleased and very happy with it too! haha!
oh...thinking of cooking something on thursday/friday, if time permits. Curry curry OR Cream of Broccoli & Cauliflower soup with Potato & Tuna balls. (Can hover over the words & click them for recipe). WokkingMum makes the dishes seem easy to cook. Dunno how it would turn out if i were to do it. lol
