12.01am already. My birthday is offically over. keke. nevertheless, it was a special and memorable 23, made possible by people close to my heart. you know who you all are. thank you all so much. i heart you all ^_^
i gotta admit i was feeling rather fatigued today, due to the lack of sleep and weird tummy for the past couple of days. met love after school. i went home first to put down my bag then bubu said wanna go holland village. then very strange wor. got people keep sms bubu then i saw bubu's sms. so...kind of found out. lol ;x then the duck kept telling jokes and make the bunny laugh. such that we missed our stop at holland v. -_-" suddenly when love ask me "eh where to alight ah?" then i looked out of the window and saw the coffee club express sign pass the bus window on the right side and the 7 bus took us all the way towards the expressway. oh my goodness. technically it's 1 bus stop away but wah kao. the distance was INSANELY far. so bo bian. alighted at the next stop and walked back. the cross junction at farrer road was dangerously scary. had to cross like 4 pedestrian crossings before getting to the other side of the road and the cars seem to turn at very fast speeds out of nowhere into the various lanes. took a bus back to holland v.
bubu brought me to El Patio Mexican Restaurant where my lovely ladies were already there waiting for us =) supposed to be pleasant surprise but minus the surprise and definitely more than pleasant. hehe~ the food there was not bad, hou exotic ah. never ever tried mexican food before. we had this hot plate dish (Fajita), of which one is lamb and the other is chicken. the lamb hot plate was really tasty. the sauces served however, quite unique ah. guacamole. aiyo the guacamole taste was....-_-" one tasted like coconut the other tasted like nonya kueh. LOL. i dunno why ah, we always seem to localise all the foreign cuisines. lol. wraps and the burrito become popiah. wahahhahaa! after we had dinner, amanda called to wish me and explained that she had family dinner thats why couldn't be there. then was talking to her halfway when suddenly ziqin and pam brought out a cake with 5 candles to the table! ^_^ and it's not just any cake; it was an oreo cheesecake! aiyo my fav =p hehe. whoa. so long no have cake for birthday already. T.T *gan dong*

this small bowl is what my mom calls the 'super high cholesterol aka unhealthy bowl' because it's an appetizer filled with century egg at the top, steamed egg below and topped with ebiko and other roe. lol. EGGY!

Ah. Many many thanks to the sweet and thoughtful girlfwens, my larling bubu, ling&seema, my mom and all the dear friends who remembered and made this day a special one. =) birthdays have always been a simple affair for me, but this year i'm truly blessed. nothing beats the simple company of close friends and loved ones.
