long post ahead
i woke up this morning, feeling so weary and my eyes were still very tired and swollen from all that sobbing and tearing the night before. the worse kind of doubt is indeed self-doubt. i doubted my own relationship and got so affected by a simple casual comment that a friend made. The comment was so casual, the person probably didn't even realise it and it was also myopic in nature yet i let it affect me so much. sigh. i was so affected, i had no appetite for dinner and i went frantically searching for people to speak to. not exactly the best course of action. spoke to 2 people, ended up sobbing while relating what affected me so much. i'm very thankful for their patience but i still felt like shyt. after much reluctance, i eventually spoke to love about what was making me so upset. after that i felt worse than before. why? 'cause it made him even more upset than i was. =( i realised i shouldn't have doubted myself, and in doing so, doubted us. we eventually sorted things out, though the damage done was clear and evident.
and so when i got to church this morning, my eyes could hardly open. i was feeling so jaded that i didn't realise love's dad was one of the ushers, so i didn't say hi to him. alamak -.-" minus marks liao. sad. anyway, today's sermon (1 Sam 13-15) was about expedience, rebellion and the last one i forgot >_< but it has something to do with focusing about ourselves instead of God. expedience is to follow the way which most people regard advantageous or simply because "since others are doing it also..." instead of the way of the righteous. i think most of us are often guilty of committing this. rebellion brought in the idea of partial obedience, which is exactly what Saul did. I guess it serves to remind us that at the end of it all, our heavenly Father is the centre of it all; the focus should be on Him and not on us.
after service, bubu brought me to Yan's palace for lunch. 
yes, i know i look damn sianz. lol! starving state leh, living on muscle glycogen. somemore so jaded, how to smile. =\
1st up, Cha Siew Sou. Oh man. I'm not a fan of cha siew sou and seriously this cha siew sou looks so ordinary and ugly. But this is just a MUST ORDER when u come here to eat. The pastry is nice, soft and flaky. Meat also very tender T.T so nice man!
Century egg porridge. What I will never fail to order when i go eat dim sum. I just love century egg porridge. Theirs is yummy =)
Ha Gao. Actually there was 4 but yeah, i think you can guess what happened to the other 2 even before i took the pic. lol. we both ate 1 each then realised forgot to take pic :X
Tada! Lotus leaf glutinous rice. Me dislikes lotus leaf glutinous rice. I repeat. Me dun like 荷叶饭. But after tasting this, i think i'm gonna be a convert. The rice is so soft and tasty, it's almost paste-like. i can't even taste each grain. Nice! Mixed with the mushrooms & meat = delectable. Not to mention, there's a surprise at the VERY end of it. Haha! Salted eggs~ yum =D

Outside Yan's palace after eating. Took a picture of the entrance. Realised that got our reflection. I was looking at the photo on my phone and telling bubu that got our reflection when the phone slipped outta my hands..........and landed on the red brick floor. x_x i screamed. Hai. the heartache. less than 1 month old nia. T_T

saded. my phone T_T got scratches liao. ~!@#$%^&* me and my butter fingers. lucky thing was, my phone's white. scratches not that obvious. haiz. but...dunno got internal injury or not. sobs. so we decided i shld get a casing for my phone. okay, we headed towards bugis. then, since i was feeling happily stuffed, i suggested that we walk to bugis from chinatown ;x and bubu so kindly let the birthday princess have her way. wahahah! along the way we stopped by at funan 'cos bubu wanna see got hellgate london demo bo. but we combed the whole building le, nada. so we left for bugis. reached bugis, walked towards sls. crossed towards the bugis hawker centre when bubu suddenly stopped me and said "eh did u see? ur fren leh!" "Huh, got meh? which one?" Apparently it was cheeseng. Cheeseng and i both walked past each other but didn't see each other. Bubu couldn't remember his name and by the time i realised it was him, he and his friends already walked damn far liao. Then bubu commented "You both so funny la. One too tall, one too short. Both walk past each other didn't see each other." Weiiii, implying i'm so short that i'm not even within cheeseng's line of vision issit? T.T (cheeseng is 179cm btw)
got to sim lim square. found the casing for my phone. yays. sobsob. 5 bucks to save me from further heartache. but the damage already done....*whines* after that we went around looking for hellgate london again. @_@ CE is $69.90 cheapest. So many people looking/buying that game lor. latest craze. i'm sorry but GE can go suck thumb liao :X
after walking around sls, we headed to fortune center. since basil alcove only opens at 6.30pm, we went to sit around and wait alittle. went to one of the coffeeshop at fortune centre. bubu had coffee and started to look at the foods sold by one of the stalls. it was selling boiled soups. one of the soups was a potato carrot soup. and they named it the 'ABC soup'. then bubu asked me what does the ABC sound for. C is obviously for carrot. what abt A n B? then as i thought about all the possible ingredients that started with A and B, Mr Quek gave me the 'answer'. ABC soup = Ah-nion, Botato, Carrot soup. Aiyo. So lame until i couldn't stop laughing. LOL.
6.30pm, we went to have dinner at basil alcove. oh man, finally both of us get to dine together there. and bubu found out that the other time he came and ate pasta, the guy that served him is actually the boss! hahaha~ bubu thought the guy was working there 'cos of the way he dressed. Big chef no need to dress so nicely la, still need to cook leh. hehe

after dinner, bubu keep insisting that we should take 131 back to his place because he wants to return my water bottle to me. (that day we used it to make our own iced milo and he brought it home to drink) i was quite reluctant 'cause i dun wan to take 3 buses back home from bugis when i actually have 1 straight bus and wondering why he was so insistent on giving it back to me so soon. but anyway, we ended up taking 131 and i waited for bubu at the lift downstairs while he went up to get the bottle. He came back down very soon with my bottle and..................my birthday gift. T.T

The bus trip back to my place felt like a guilt trip for me. When i found out how much effort he had to go through to get the gift (nvm abt the moomoo-box and the kueh neng gou that i like can buy again de =) ) , i just felt like the 千古罪人 already. the whole thing suddenly dawned on me, and i realised how much heartache i've put love through yesterday. oh man. -_-" but really, the damage already done. i can't turn back time and re-edit everything. shucks.
In the past birthdays were always either during exams, or during holidays. Never really celebrated them except when i was much younger, 4 and before. The other one after that was a surprise celebration after PSLE where we had a mini gathering at a classmate's house. 21st was of course memorable as well =) Thanks so much baby, for making my 22nd and 23rd birthdays so special! i'm so sorry for the heartache i caused u =( promise i'll make it up to u. haiz~ XOXO
As i reflect back now, i just can't help but feel really thankful to God for having you. =)
Note: I finally know why my legs so suan liao! We combed our way up each and EVERY floor of funan to find bubu's hellgate london demo and combed our way down to find my life bookshop. then after that still stand at the giant plasma/lcd tv exhibit there watch transformers. ;x becos aku watched until very engrossed, dun wan to move. then in the end watch until most exciting part, where sam gonna pass the cube to the helicopter nia then......the playback stopped. Zzz. Eh we were not the only ones standing there okay. Got a handful of other people too. lol.
Add: yeee...bubu bluff me. haha! made me cannot find lifebookshop. distract me with transformers. i feel like a kiddie. lol.
