Finally~ my 3-month break! Woohoo~ Well, my last paper today, genetics, was "..." because it wasn't exactly tough yet it wasn't an easy one either. 'cause i felt as though i fell into alot of traps yet i dunno that i'm in them :( sometimes i really hope they'd give super duper tough paper (yes, evil me) such that there'll be moderation =x oh well. wad the heck. nothing i can do about it, i guess i'll leave it all to Him to decide. *sigh* Don't really want to think or brood about it though i feel this sem i'm really quite dead.
Hmm, seems as though while my blog was on a short unannounced hiatus, many other friends' blog entries went on auto-fire or something. LOL! Not bad, but that means i have alot of reading to do (not to mention spying as well). Oops. Anyway, so much for the lack of updates. Have been really lazy to blog, so now here's all the overdue pictures that i was supposed to post. (really alot, so brace yourselves and your browsers too =p )
Cant remember if i've posted this before. But this was like our previous cooking session (3 sessions backward) *gasp* so outdated @_@ anyway, we cooked baked orange chicken AND fried chicken. with steamed egg (2nd attempt, turned out much better this time round), veg and Almost inedible Ramen. Yuck! The ramen was really a total waste of money.
the yucky ramen & the 2 side dishes
fried chicken and baked orange chicken
Next, after love's NM paper, we kinda cooked 'cause we couldn't think of a nice place to eat at and love was feeling sianz of outside food. So we cooked aglio olio again, this time with much more prawns and escargot too, together with the buttered sweet corn. Turned out great. Was a nice and simple meal =)

After love's last paper (my 2nd-last paper) at 11am, we went to creative service center to get love's bro's dictionary for servicing. Then we decided to head to Jurong east area. And I dunno how, love talked me into taking the harmless-looking shortcut through the grass patch from creative to the jurong mrt station. I thought it was just going to be a normal walk through the grass 'cause there's like a path already, which means 'conquered' by others liao, so should be no problem right?
...WRONG! As we walked, the path got muddier and wetter. OMG. HENG i was wearing shoes! Some parts became so hard to walk, need to jump onto rocks or planks or walk a longer way just to avoid the waterlogged areas or the muddy puddles. Around the middle of our 'hike', i ended up walking ahead of love. Was walking ahead, when suddenly i heard a 'piak' sound followed by a 'ARGHHHHHHH'. I immediately turn around and burst out laughing. LOL! Love's slipper got stuck in the mud and the 'piak' was when he tried to pull it out of the mud and the mud just splashed all over. WAHAHAHAHAHHA!! Then love went 'lurfu, can i have tissue please?' The boy looked so poor thing and still had to wait for his crazy girlfriend to stop laughing so that she can pass him some tissue. LOL! haha~ helped him wipe off some of the mud. wah seh, the mud splashed all over his bag till the black sling bag became spotted! rofl! and his jeans and slippers all got spots of mudsplashs. Eww~ Like machiam go through which forest liddat, hahah!
As we proceeded nearer to our destination, more and more puddles of mud. URgh. Somemore can't turn back wor. sickening. Again, i thank God i was wearing shoes :X Finally could see the mrt station quite near liao, but got a very scary slope. There was a part of the slope that had no grass, obviously the part where most have crossed and a part with grass. Love took the path with no grass de. Wah. It didn't look slippery but it was! so scary >_< So i decided to take the grass part. Less scary. So grass > bare soil. After bloody long, we finally reached. Bunny and Fatty's mini-adventure at the mudlands finally concluded! (thankfully) Lesson learnt? Next time, walk along the road on the outside instead of the shortcut. Took much longer and so scary somemore. jeez. After we reached JEC, we had korean food. Not too bad =p
Fried Mushrooms
BIBINBAP! :D
And FINALLY today, after my paper, we didn't exactly have a plan what to do. So we just headed to vivo. Went harbour front's pastamania 'cause i felt like eating cream pasta :D Love had bacon olio which was surprisingly darn tasty! After that we went to Wang's cafe and had kopi, teh and kaya toast @_@ (yeahyeah i know, very unlike me but what to do, i'm with an uncle and he feels like drinking kopi! LOL)
At 2.30pm, we went to Bosses which is located on the 2nd floor of vivo. Kind of got intimidated by the decor and atmosphere 'cause it was really oriental, classy and nice =) The tables were special 'cos the menu is kept in a small drawer that's part of the table. Anyway, here are the stuff we had!
Appetizers (Surprisingly, the veggies were damn crunchy and sweet)
Chrysanthemum tea (the teapot and cups so cute >_< )
First up - Xiao Long Bao
Ha Gao - This one is OWNAGE. DAMN NICE AR! Skin is thin, every bite is just PURE FRESH TASTY PRAWN! WOOHOO~
Custard Bun - Okay, this one, i was darn skeptical to even try it, cos i dun like custard bun :( BUT...look what happens when u poke a hole in it xD
The golden yellow filling just oozes out and tasted REAL good. It's salted egg lor. Not salty and VERY VERY RICH. ^_^
Yet another prawn thingy! Prawn ball with Goose Liver! (OH btw this place really has some exotic concoctions like Pig's liver shumai, Green tea xiao long bao, braised beef stomach in curry sauce etc.
Can see anot o.O? Fresh prawns balls with Goose liver in the center =p
Glutinous rice shumai - Nice! Really unique, rather than always eat those stuffed with meat, here's one with sticky rice. Very fragrant and tasty.
Chicken Taro Croquette - What can i say? Heavenly :)
Well well, absolutely satisfying meal, quality food, nice ambience, great company (hee :x)...all at the price of ....
$25.55!!!! WHAT A STEAL! MUAHAHAAHAHAHA! Why? Because it has 50% discount on all dim sum and desserts from 2.30 - 5pm. Really worth it if you ask me :)
Woot. I'm done. By far this is the LONGEST entry i've ever blogged! I've outdone myself. =p *presses publish*
